Northeast Sponsored Continuing Education Seminars

Northeast College Frank J. Nicchi School of Continuing Education makes every attempt to offer programs as publicized. We nevertheless reserve the right to alter and/or adjust program details, including but not limited to dates, locations, times, instructors, and presentation sources and sequences. You are encouraged, therefore, to contact the Northeast School of Continuing Education to confirm program details before attending sessions. Northeast is not responsible for expenses and/or consequential damages suffered by registrants of altered programs.


License Renewal

Appropriate applications relating to credit hours for license renewal in selected states have been executed for these programs. For information regarding these applications (including current state approvals) please contact the Northeast School of Continuing Education. Additional state’s approval may be requested by attendee: please allow ample time for processing; state processing fees apply.

While courses are available for widespread purchase (USD), we do not secure CE outside of North America. Our courses cannot be used to supplement core curriculum to gain a professional license, nor can these courses grant Northeast alumni status.

Completion of Northeast/C.E. courses, do not allow a registrants to state that they are a graduate nor alumnus of Northeast College of Health Sciences


For all courses Northeast/C.E. registers, the following WILL BE ENFORCED:

Early Registration Deadline

Attendees MUST be registered and paid via credit card or check by 3:00 pm, one week before the course is to take place, to avoid additional fees. All unpaid/ late registrations and at door registrations are subject to the following non-refundable fees: add $50.00 (10-15 hr programs), add $25.00 (5-9 hr programs), add $15.00 (3-4 hr programs), add $10 (2 hr webinars), add $5 (1 hr webinars).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within one week of course, but prior to notes being made electronically available, are subject to an administrative fee: $50.00 for 10-15 hr seminars, $25.00 for 5-9 hr seminars, $15.00 for 3-4 hr seminars, $10.00 for 2 hr webinars, $5 for 1 hr webinars. Cancellations of a course after notes have been made electronically available (including No Shows) are subject to a processing fee: $150.00 for 10-15 hr seminars, $70.00 for 5-9 hr seminars, $45.00 for 4 hr seminars, $30.00 for 3 hr seminars, $20.00 for 2 hr webinars, $10.00 for 1 hr webinars.

All refunds must be requested within 7 days of course completion.

All postage fees are non-refundable.

Invalid credit cards are subject to a $10.00 fee and returned checks are subject to a $20.00 fee.

No refunds for online recorded webinar distance-learning courses.

New Jersey Licensed Chiropractic Assistant Training Program cancellation policy:

  • Prorated refunds available through module 30.
  • $150 Registration fee is non-refundable.

Discounts

College sponsored classroom programs and live webinars:

  • Northeast/NYCC Alumni receive a 10% discount (discounts cannot be combined, certain restrictions apply);
  • DCs who have been licensed for 50 years or more receive a 50% discount (discounts cannot be combined, certain restrictions apply);
  • Northeast Faculty and Northeast Students are free, but must register in advance (must adhere to the early registration deadline, limited seating, certain restrictions apply);
  • Non-Northeast Students receive a 50% discount (must use a valid college email to register, limited seating, certain restrictions apply)
  • CA / Staff (excludes LCA) accompanied by their Doctor of Chiropractic employer Registration Fee: 50% tuition discount on selected courses (must adhere to the early registration deadline, limited seating, certain restrictions apply). Contact the School of Continuing Education to register at discounted rate.

College sponsored recorded webinars:

  • Northeast Faculty and Northeast Students are free, but must register in advance (must adhere to the early registration deadline, limited seating, certain restrictions apply)

Northeast recent D.C. graduates will be eligible, for two years from graduation date, to take sponsored classroom courses, live and recorded webinars for free (must adhere to the early registration deadline, limited seating, some restrictions apply)


Webinars

Webinars are a real-time, interactive, internet based program & is therefore considered live in most states/provinces. It is the attendees' responsibility to ensure their state board accepts this delivery format and how it is applicable to their live vs. distance learning regulations. You must be logged in to view the webinar for CE credit eligibility.

Lecture Notes

Lecture notes will be made electronically available whenever possible. Should an attendee request a hard copy, the fee is $1 /page.


Online Course Availability

College sponsored online programs:

  • Most online courses must be completed within 120 days from date of purchase unless otherwise notated
  • Certificate or Licensing programs (example: NRCME and NJ LCA programs) are available for no less than 1-year from date of purchase
  • Course lessons are broken down into approximately 30 minute segments which must be completed within 10 days, otherwise that lesson segment will need to be re-watched
  • Once a course lesson is started you must click "complete lesson" or "stop and restart / resume later" within 40 minutes to save your progress, otherwise that lesson segment will need to be re-watched

CE Processing and Transcript Availability

Notification emails will be sent to attendees once a course transcript becomes available. For Sponsored courses, CE transcripts will be made available on our website within 30 days of the seminar (pending attendance verification). For Co-sponsored courses, CE transcripts will be made available on our website within 30 days of receipt of the roster from the sponsoring organization.
