Upper Extremity part 4B is a hands-on experience in the assessment and interventions of athletic injuries of the upper limb. Dive into the skills needed as a sports chiropractor to fully understand, evaluate, and treat the upper limb. Assessment directives and return to sport plans will also be reviewed. The taping lab will be a live hands-on experience in which the learner will learn the techniques in athletic tape application and protocols. Understanding the goal of tape application and how to execute your intention with the use of a variety of sport tape. This class will take the registrant through a hands-on experience in assessment and intervention skills of injuries of the lower limb. Beginning with assessment techniques of the hip and pelvis as it pertains to athletic injuries. The knee will be reviewed in detail. Injury assessment skills practice of the knee in the instance of acute and chronic sport injuries will be practiced. Ankle and foot injuries will be addressed as it pertains to assessment skills, mechanism of injury and treatment interventions. Return to sport plans for injuries of the lower limb will be discussed and practiced. This class will be an active delivery and practical application of the knowledge gained in the theory courses delivered in this program. Review and practice of the critical steps involved in the golden hour of care on the field of play. Implementation of emergency care protocols including spine boarding, primary and secondary survey skills.

To obtain the required 100-hours for CCSP application eligibility you must complete all 100-hours and may not repeat course titles / content to count toward the 100-hours.
Live synchronous courses are continually being scheduled and rotated throughout the year.
All registrations are for individual courses and are not available for bundling.

ACBSP CCSP guidelines state it is a postgraduate course.
A chiropractic student may only take up to 10% of the program prior to graduation.
