DESCRIPTION
The transfer of energy capacitive and resistive (TECAR) is the next generation of manual therapy. This course reviews the current research, clinical application, history and physiological effects of this established modality. Although in use since the 1990’s in Europe, it has recently gained momentum in the USA primarily in the athletic population. TECAR will be compared and contrasted to capacitive and resistive electrical transfer (CRET) so the clinician will be knowledgeable in each. The course will balance the discussion of the physiological properties of these modalities with clinician application for the Chiropractic doctor.
