DESCRIPTION
Evidence based has been defined as the conscientious, explicit, and judicious use of the current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients. The practice of evidence based means integrating individual clinical expertise with the best available external clinical evidence from systematic research.

This course will offer insight and strategy in developing the proficiency and judgment in managing the musculoskeletal conditions chiropractors encounter the most while enhancing the clinical experience for patients.

This course will explore the process of using internal evidence to achieve a more effective and efficient diagnosis while also identifying individual patients' predicaments, rights and preferences in making clinical decisions about their care.

Furthermore, we will examine the use of external evidence, including clinically relevant patient centered research, the accuracy and precision of diagnostic tests (including the clinical examination), the power of prognostic markers, and the efficacy and safety of therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventive regimens.

Pursuing a mindset that uses clinical evidence both invalidates previously accepted diagnostic tests and treatments and replaces them with new ones that are more powerful, more accurate, more efficacious and safer.
