DESCRIPTION
This seminar reviews the physiologic function and benefit of vitamin D, vitamin K2, and magnesium with an emphasis on the spine and the related musculoskeletal systems. Learning objectives include: How vitamin D deficiency can cause low-back pain; the connection between magnesium deficiency and chronic pain, muscle tightness, and fatigue; why vitamin K2 is essential to strengthen bone; the relationship between vitamin D and vitamin K2; the relationship between vitamin D and magnesium; lab testing and supplementation for these nutrients.
