DESCRIPTION
This course will take you on a unique journey through a dissection of the kinetic chain didactically and in the gross specimen. Beginning with a walk through the series of events necessary for human motion and performance in concept and evaluate the interconnections that create movement, performance or in some instances injury in the gross specimen. The class will then dive into the relay of force transmission of the linear athlete through the actions of muscle, tendon, joints, and bone. Lastly injury recovery and interventions will be reviewed and suggested for some of the more common sports injuries.
