DESCRIPTION

Radiology seminars unfortunately can tend to be heavy on information, but light on clinical utility. This seminar seeks to bridge the gap between clinical patient presentation and the diagnostic imaging for those patients. Utilizing DICOM imaging, Dr. Warshel will demonstrate how to approach an MRI of the shoulder, from recognizing pulse sequences, knowing indications/contraindications for contrast, and reviewing the relevant anatomy. The course will cover the common clinical presentations and the attendant pathology, such as tendinosis and tears of the rotator cuff, glenoid labrum tears, post-dislocation imaging, muscular denervation, marrow replacing diseases.
