DESCRIPTION
This course will familiarize the doctor with the imaging findings of conditions frequently seen in clinical practice. Included topics will include materials on identifying disc herniations, evaluation of spinal stenosis, determination of bone marrow disease, common muscle/tendon/ligament/cartilage problems of the extremities.
By the end of the course, the learner should be able to:
Identify and apply standard nomenclature of disc herniations
Evaluate for spinal stenosis
Determine the presence of malignant marrow replacement
Diagnose common extremity complaints, e.g. supraspinatus tears, labral injuries
