DESCRIPTION
Upon the completion of this course students are expected to be able to: 1. Determine weaknesses in digestive, assimilative, and intestinal microbiological status 2. Describe the role of diet, lifestyle, and medications (basic science) in gastrointestinal conditions 3. Formulate applicable dietary, lifestyle, and nutraceutical interventions in the support of overall health with gastrointestinal disorders 4. Plan and monitor nutrient interventions to correct abnormalities found by testing
