DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to teach providers clinically relevant considerations around ergonomics education for sedentary workers and how these considerations impact the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries. This course will dispel myths about ergonomics and serve as a fundamental education on the purpose and application of ergonomics for sedentary workers. The primary focus of the material is to help providers to teach patients to develop better body position habits and create favorable body environments to limit and prevent musculoskeletal disorders. This course is centered on providing a guideline for patient education about how they should treat their bodies in their day-to-day life.
