THIS COURSE IS VALID TOWARDS CCSP CREDENTIALING WITH THE ACBSP
A sports chiropractic practitioner is tasked with treating both the professional and amateur athlete. This course examines the variety of areas a sports chiropractor needs to be aware of in providing quality healthcare for these athletes. In this course, we explore the factors involved in confidentiality, liability, duty of care, tort vs. criminal law, malpractice, the media, treatment of minors, informed consent and the changing landscape of travel to treat, as well as other issues related to treating athletes within the scope of sports chiropractic practice in the modern era and in accordance with state law.
To obtain the required 100-hours for CCSP application eligibility you must complete all 100-hours and may not repeat course titles / content to count toward the 100-hours.
Live synchronous courses are continually being scheduled and rotated throughout the year.
All registrations are for individual courses and are not available for bundling.
ACBSP CCSP guidelines state it is a postgraduate course.
A chiropractic student may only take up to 10% of the program prior to graduation.
