This presentation will address some of the more common ethical issues that manifest in everyday clinical practice. Discussion will cover morally questionable areas such as sexualized interactions, adaptation of treatment to align with insurance coverage, malingering, coercion to receive treatment, provision of care to a patient who is cognitively impaired, and misrepresentation of condition in order to obtain care that would otherwise not be provided especially under COVID-19 parameters.
