This course will introduce and detail both diagnostic (ICD-10) and procedural (CPT) coding for the chiropractic practice. Attendees will learn practical applications for common patient coding scenarios while also learning exceptions to the rules, common misgivings, and possible challenges. Special attention will be given to unique circumstances such as Medicare, Personal Injury, and Workers Compensation claims. The relationship between diagnosis and treatment will be emphasized and encouraged along with proper documentation to support each.
