DESCRIPTION
The course will handle the appropriate use of record keeping and documentation to demonstrate medical necessity. This will include recording the intake history and physical exam findings and x-ray studies. It will also incorporate how to appropriately document the inclusion of imaging, testing, and specialty consultations. Appropriate documentation of treatment encounters will be reviewed as well. Risk management through record keeping will all be taught.
