DESCRIPTION
Participants will review the in-depth process for physical examination, documentation, establishment of work restrictions or return to work criteria, treatment plan and self-care strategies for workers injured in New York. While addressing common spine conditions that are the result of work duties, this course will also cover current policies and procedures regarding medically necessary care as outlined in the New York State Workers Compensation Medical Treatment Guidelines. Part of this course’s focus will be on objective functional measures and utilizing these to steer treatment selections as well as documenting progress with care.
