DESCRIPTION
This presentation will be a review of the history of TMJ complaints often associated with neck conditions. This is a two-hour theoretical presentation of one option to treat TMD patients. We will review clinical anatomy of the TMJ. Discuss historical treatments. Renew our knowledge of clinical biomechanics of this complex joint. Treatment is focused on an Instrument assisted manual technique. This technique is from sound biomechanical procedures introduced through a measured instrument. Muscle energy techniques will support the protocol. This course will not review any named technique but rather a time-tested procedure yielding good results.
