DESCRIPTION
This course will serve as an introduction to the Primary Spine Practitioner role in the healthcare system as well as the knowledge and skill necessary to serve in that role. It is a three-part course; however, each course date may be taken individually. There is no pre-requisite to take any other course date within this series.
The series will cover: 1) the current state of the healthcare system related to spine related disorders and the emerging new role – the primary spine practitioner; 2) utilizing the CRISP® protocols to apply the biopsychosocial model (biological, psychological and social factors) in the diagnosis and management of patients with lumbopelvic problems and; 3) utilizing the CRISP® protocols to apply the biopsychosocial model (biological, psychological and social factors) in the diagnosis and management of patients with cervical problems.
